Why it's in the kit
This is the bag that changed how I travel. The FlexFold dividers let me reconfigure the interior for a camera-with-lens-attached body on one side and a drone case on the other — no Tetris, no bubble wrap. Side-access panels mean I can pull the camera out without setting the bag down. Four years and the MagLatch still feels new.
How I run it
Default config: A7 IV with 24-70 attached on the left side, DJI Air 3 hard case on the right, MacBook in the laptop sleeve, tech pouch + SSDs in the top compartment. The external carry straps hold a travel tripod on longer shoots.
What I almost bought
- Wandrd PRVKE 31 — Great roll-top design, but the side access is shallower — my camera body didn't fit comfortably.
Skip it if
If you rarely carry camera gear, a minimalist tech backpack like the Aer Travel Pack serves better.
