Questions

Is it free?

Yes. There is no account, key or paywall. The server only limits bursts of requests so it stays available.

What can my assistant read?

Only content published on lvpath.com: essays, posts, video summaries, the glossary, book reviews and public service details. Nothing private, no paid downloads and no account actions.

Does LV see my chats?

No. Your assistant only sends the search terms and document IDs it needs. LV counts anonymously which tools are used and what topics are searched, with no IP addresses or conversation data.

How fresh is it?

It refreshes with every site deployment. The current snapshot is from 18 Oct 2026. New posts and video summaries appear after LV’s publishing workflow imports them.

Why does my client ask for permission?

MCP clients ask before using a new server or tool. LV Portal’s three tools (search, fetch and list_topics) are read-only.
