This website (lvpath.com) is operated by LV (the "operator"), an independent content creator. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean LV. For any data protection request, contact us via legal@lvpath.com or through the official channels listed below.
Information We Collect
This site is a static website with no user accounts and no database that stores personal information. We process a limited amount of data only in the following cases: (a) anonymized, aggregated usage metrics through Vercel Web Analytics, loaded only after you grant analytics consent; (b) technical data your browser sends to our hosting provider (Vercel) such as IP address, user-agent, and request timestamps, used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain security logs; (c) any information you voluntarily provide when you book a call (via Cal.com / Calendly) or submit a form (via Tally), which is processed by those services under their own privacy policies.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (i) your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for optional analytics and any non-essential cookies; (ii) legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for keeping the site online, secure, and protected against abuse, and for basic server logs; (iii) the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you contact us to discuss a service. You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie preferences panel without affecting prior lawful processing.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and localStorage entries (such as your consent choice and language preference) and, only with your explicit consent, an optional analytics cookie set by Vercel Web Analytics. Third-Party Services and Embeds
Pages may include embedded content from YouTube (via the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain), Cal.com / Calendly (booking widget), Tally.so (form widget), Substack (article archive), GitHub (public profile and repos), and public crypto APIs (Hyperliquid, CoinGecko, CoinCap) used to display market data. Where these embeds load, they may set their own cookies or process technical data under their respective privacy policies. We do not control those services and are not joint controllers for the data they process directly with you.
Wallet Data (On-Chain)
Some pages display public wallet addresses for receiving tips in DOT, SOL, ETH, BTC, and HYPE. Blockchain transactions are public by design and not controlled by us. We do not link wallet addresses to identifiable individuals.
Data Retention
Analytics data is processed in aggregated form by Vercel and is not used to build individual profiles; Vercel retains analytics events for the period defined in its documentation (typically up to 12 months). Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short rolling window for security purposes. Your cookie consent record is stored locally in your browser and is refreshed when our policy version changes. We do not store personal data ourselves beyond what is strictly necessary to respond to a direct inquiry from you.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request rectification or erasure, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent at any time, receive your data in a portable format, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the EU/EEA, your national data protection authority; in the UK, the ICO). To exercise any of these rights, contact legal@lvpath.com. We will respond within the period required by law (generally one month under the GDPR).
California / US State Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, email legal@lvpath.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
International Data Transfers
Our hosting and analytics providers (Vercel) and several embedded services (YouTube, Cal.com, Tally, Substack, GitHub) are based in or transfer data to the United States and other jurisdictions outside the EU/UK. Where required, those providers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses to protect international transfers.
Children
This site is not directed to children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact legal@lvpath.com and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a global CDN and modern security headers. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited categories of data we handle.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date and "Policy version" above will always reflect the current version. Material changes that affect optional processing will trigger a fresh consent request through the cookie banner.
