Why it's in the kit

5K at 27 inches is the sweet spot where text stops looking like pixels and grading becomes trustworthy. The built-in webcam and speakers are good enough that travel calls don't need extra gear. It just gets out of the way.

How I run it

Centered at eye level on an arm mount so the webcam framing is honest. Brightness set low for long writing sessions; kicked up only when grading.

Skip it if

If you never color-grade or read fine text for hours, a good 4K monitor at a third of the price is the rational buy.
