About Bitcoin Lab

Bitcoin Lab is CryptoLV's bilingual dashboard for exploring a long-run Bitcoin price model. Its log-log regression fits BTC/USD against days since genesis. The Power Law view plots fair value, ±2σ bands, a projection fan, and historical prices colored by Z-Score. Residuals shows distance from the fitted trend; Fourier breaks that series into harmonics, including a fundamental around Bitcoin's roughly four-year halving cycle. Market Cycles brings the views together with accumulation, bullish, distribution, and bearish phases and historical events. Choose 2D or 3D, eight chart styles (Classic, Aurora, Constellation, Embers, Neon, Glitch, Ink, and Flat), three palettes (Classic Gold, Midnight Nebula, and Solar Flare), and camera presets.

The history slider refits the model as of a selected date without later observations. Set a hypothetical price and date to inspect its Z-Score, percentile, and configured signal. Backtests compare the signal strategy with buy-and-hold and monthly DCA at 7-, 30-, or 90-day intervals. Walk-forward is the default; results show a P25–P75 range beside an in-sample curve, with default costs of 0.1% fees and 0.05% slippage. You can set rule thresholds and optional price, Z-Score, or distance-to-fair-value alerts; desktop notifications and sound are opt-in. Export charts and equity plots as PNG, data and metrics as CSV, or printable/PDF and Markdown reports. Shared links retain the language, style, palette, thresholds, scenario, panel, and chart view. The installable PWA includes an offline shell and history.

CryptoLV supplies the BTC/USD feed; a spot quote may come from CoinGecko and is timestamped separately from the historical series. Historical prices use the last observation from each completed UTC day at mempool.space. Missing days carry the previous observation forward without using future data; uneven coverage can affect Fourier analysis and backtests. The quote refresh can be set to Off, 1, 5, or 15 minutes, and the dashboard distinguishes observed from completed days. Its one-year horizon is a fixed scenario, not a prediction of the next peak. This is an educational model, not financial advice, and configured rule scores are not accuracy probabilities.

What it does

LV role Creator

  1. Fit BTC/USD price against days since genesis on logarithmic axes. The Power Law chart shows its fair-value line, ±2σ bands, projection fan, and historical prices colored by Z-Score.

  2. Switch between 2D and 3D charts, eight styles (Classic, Aurora, Constellation, Embers, Neon, Glitch, Ink, and Flat), three palettes, and preset camera views.

  3. Inspect model residuals, toggle Fourier harmonics around the roughly four-year halving cycle, and compare accumulation, bullish, distribution, and bearish phases with historical events.

  4. Scrub to a historical date and refit the model as of that point, or set a price and date to inspect a scenario's Z-Score, percentile, and configured signal.

  5. Compare signal, buy-and-hold, and monthly DCA strategies at 7-, 30-, or 90-day intervals. Walk-forward tests include a P25–P75 range and an in-sample comparison; default costs are 0.1% fees and 0.05% slippage.

  6. Set optional price, Z-Score, or fair-value alerts, with desktop notifications and sound opt-in. Choose an off, 1-, 5-, or 15-minute quote refresh cadence.

  7. Export charts and equity curves as PNG, model data as CSV, and a printable/PDF report or Markdown summary. Shared URLs retain language, theme, thresholds, scenario, panel, and chart view.

  8. Install the PWA for an offline shell and bundled history; use the command palette and keyboard shortcuts to move between panels and exports.
